Voice of Reason is developing ambient, human-centered AI assistance for people living with dementia, learning disabilities, or traumatic brain injury. Our work explores reminders, contextual conversation, and task guidance.

The alpha is evolving. We’ll confirm your household’s configuration and participation terms before you take part.
What is Legavo?
Legavo Companion is the book-like device at home. Caregiver is the app for family and friends. Biographer is a mode within Companion that helps turn spoken stories into a biography. Alpha features, included services, support and setup are confirmed with participants.
Can I contact family myself?
Yes. Companion supports outgoing messages and audio or video calls in the alpha. Contacts must be configured, an internet connection is needed, and the other person must be available. A call may go unanswered; Legavo is not an emergency-response service.
What can my family do?
Family members can use Caregiver to share photos and messages, arrange reminders and connect through calls. What each person can access depends on the household setup and permissions. Ask us to review these with you before participation.
What happens during a family call?
The alpha is designed to keep AI speech and announcements quiet during your call. Speech processing remains active so spoken hang-up requests can be recognized. Quiet does not mean the microphone is off.
Does it record everything?
Voice processing, stored audio, conversation text and biography drafts are different kinds of data. Audio recording is configurable in the alpha; do not assume that a quiet device has stopped processing or storing information. Please confirm your household’s recording and access settings with us before use.
Can I pause it?
The Companion has separate Pause and Sleep controls. Sleep can use a dark screen or a night-light display. These controls are not the same as switching the device off; interruption and wake behavior depend on the setup. We can explain the controls for your alpha unit before you use it.
Can I review or share my stories?
Biographer supports reviewing and revising chapters. Editing and export options depend on the current alpha workflow and setup. Ask us to demonstrate the options available on your alpha unit. A printed-book service is not promised.
When can I get one, and what will it cost?
Legavo is in alpha development. Join the email-only waitlist to express interest. Availability, participation terms and any costs will be confirmed separately. Signup does not reserve a unit or guarantee a date; no automatic confirmation email is sent.
Is website signup privacy the same as product privacy?
No. Our website signup disclosure covers the details you submit on this website. It is not a complete policy for conversations, recordings, biography drafts or family content in the product. Ask us to explain product data handling, access and removal options for your alpha setup before use.
